SELF is dedicated to empowering learners in their day-to-day lives with the literacy skills they need to actively participate in their families and communities. Learning for Living is SELF's mission: our learners gain the confidence they need to increase their participation and independence at home, in the community and in the workplace.

Literacy is the door through which our learners gain access to the world around them, and SELF works to ensure that every learner leaves the SELF program with the skills they need to confidently go forward with their learning, and personal and professional goals.
